2017 Photo of the week

It’s three days to the shortest day, and it’s been cold and frosty in Christchurch. I went for a walk in town today as I was feeling the need to get out of the house.  I haven’t really taken many city post-earthquake shots or updates for a while, and actually there is so much happening in the city. However, there are still acres of land untouched or empty six years on from then earthquakes. Today’s photo is through a fenced off part of the city, showing the concrete and iron mess left, pooled with water; that was the PWC building – the tallest in the city. It’s been pulled down to the foundations and then left, fenced off, with nothing happening. I put a bit of HDR filter on this one to reflect how I feel about these parts of the city like this,
